GrassRoots Program Cover 2001- was painted specifically for the GrassRoots Festival, which takes place in Trumansburg, NY. each summer. From the First year, through the Twenty-first year, I made a painting for each Festival Program Cover. The GrassRoots Festival still goes on, but now a photo by someone else graces the Program Covers instead of a painting.
I was listening to a CD of Old Time Music by the Skillet Likkers, when these two musicians appeared on my watercolor paper. I have no idea where they came from.
